The Expect More Philosophy

We believe that the best players at the next level are those who can hit the farthest, throw the hardest, and move the fastest, while most importantly being able to display those abilities within the confines of the games. As obvious as this may sound, frequently these goals are not trained for in the world of baseball and softball. Everything we will do throughout our training will be purposefully designed to create a player that can hit the ball far, throw it hard, move fast AND are able to display those on field when it matters most.

How can we accomplish these goals?
Before we can accomplish our goal of developing players that can hit the ball far, throw it hard, and move fast, we must know what it takes to make these things happen. This requires a dedication to search for, and understand, the newest principles of player development, while also having the on-field experience to know what’s going to work and what isn’t. There are a lot of ideas out in the baseball/softball world, those who’ve shown what works in the training environment AND on the field are the people who truly have success.

If it is important, we should be measuring it and doing it regularly.

During Coach Singer's time at Poston Butte, Eastmark, and Campo Verde he has collected thousands of at-bats of hitting data, thousands of pitches of catching data, and hundreds of work outs measuring the performance of his players. The data collection has two purposes, the first being the measurement of what our program believes is important proves or disproves our thinking. Secondly, the more information you have the easier it becomes to identify new trends that could push your players to the next level.
